Head & Associate Professor | Nizam College, Osmania University Dr. M. Ramana is a seasoned academic leader and policy expert with over 12 years of research and teaching experience in the Indian Political System and E-Governance.

Academic Authority: Holds a Ph.D. in E-Governance and was awarded a prestigious ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellowship in New Delhi (2012) for his study on Municipal Corporations.

Research & Innovation: An accomplished researcher with four patents in social science and 30+ papers presented globally on public policy and rural development.

Academic Mentor: Has successfully guided 7 Ph.D. scholars, 26 M.Phil. scholars, and supervised 25 dissertations.

Leadership Experience: Served as NAAC Coordinator and Project Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Study, focusing on institutional quality and academic excellence.

WHAT UPPSA WILL DO: Our Action Plan

UPPSA is established to act as a bridge between the academic scholars of Uttar Pradesh and the legislative heart of the state.

High-Level Interactions: Hosting regular meetings between UP Vice-Chancellors and State Ministers to align higher education with the National Education Policy (NEP).

Legislative & Policy Watch: Analyzing New Bills passed in the UP Legislative Assembly and Central Parliament to provide simplified summaries for youth and faculty.

Election & Survey Research: Conducting scientific Election Studies and field surveys across UP’s diverse districts to track voter behavior and democratic trends.

Skill & Certification: Introducing Diploma Courses in Legislative Drafting, E-Governance, and Political Communication to enhance the employability of social science students.

Youth & Faculty Mobilization: Organizing National Youth Interactions and awareness campaigns to bridge the gap between rural and urban political discourse through ICT (Information Communication Technology).
